INFLUENCE OF SOLAR ACTIVITY CYCLES ON EARTH'S CLIMATE

Influence of solar activity cycles on Earth's climate

ISAC is a project funded by the European Space Agency (ESA) and the project team consist of the following members:

· Danish National Space Center (DNSC), former (DSRI)
· Swedish Institute of Space Physics (IFR)
· Space and Atmospheric Physics, Blackett Laboratory, Imperial College (IC)

In the project we intend to address the general question of how solar activity influences Earth’s climate, assess the likely impact of the candidate mechanisms in turn, and advise on possible methods for integrating these effects in climate simulations.
